Class description:
Therapeutic Qi Gong is a type of medical Qi Gong - also sometimes called “Chinese Yoga”.
It was developed by Chinese doctors who were practicing Traditional Chinese medicine. They then widely recommended this form of Qi-Gong to their patients for faster healing or as an addition to Western medicine.
Through gentle whole body stretching and Qi breathing you will feel the energy flow smoothly through your body. This energy initiates the healing process. It is proven to relieve many ailments: back pain, neck and shoulder problems, cardiac ailments and circulation problems, low energy, low immune function, GI problems, muscle stiffness, arthritic complaints and many others. It also improves posture! It can be practiced even if you are ill or recovering from surgery.
1 hour class: warm-up, Qi-Gong exercises, self-massage and a short meditation
Recommended level: Beginner. This is an excellent preventative and recuperative exercise for all ages.
2. Qi-Gong for the Whole Body
This short form combines physical exercises in slow, graceful movements, gentle stretching, and breathing. There are also a few static Qi-Gong forms included in this class. They are similar to meditations, but directed towards building strength and inner power while in a relaxed state.
70 mins class: warm-up, Qi-Gong exercises, static Qi-Gong forms, self-massage and relaxation.
Recommended level: Beginner, Level II and Advanced.

Session II: March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, April 5
Session III: April 26, May 3, 10, 17, 24, 31
Time for group classes:
Qi Gong Classes: 10 am and 5pm
Class prices:
Small Group classes (3-5 people). 6 weeks sessions.
$15 , drop in per class
$90, one 60 mins class a week for 6 weeks ($15 per class)
10% off for two classes per week for 6 Weeks.
Private classes: $45 per hour. 2 people - $30 per hour per person.
Holidays (no class): New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve
Make Up Class Policy:
You can make up the class you have missed, including holiday cancellation classes. Please call ahead to find out if the class is available. If you are unable to complete the class you have registered for, you can makeup the balance of the classes within three months.
Refund policy for cancellation: There will be a 25% administration charge for cancellation before the 6 week session begins. There are no refunds after the session begins.
