Personal Statement
For years I had been on a personal quest to learn to manage pain. Growing up as a dancer and leading an active lifestyle, I was continuously plagued by pain and discomfort throughout my body. Over the years I tried several different treatment plans but never felt that I was receiving the results that I desired. I decided to try a different approach and after researching the many benefits of massage therapy I had my first session. I was so pleased when, for the first time in years, I truly felt relief.
After first earning my degree in Psychology and spending years working in corporate sales, I decided to pursue what truly interested me, an education in massage therapy. After completing my formal education, I began what I view as a lifelong journey of continuing my education to build on my current skills and to introduce additional modalities into my practice.
I enjoy helping others understand and treat themselves whether their intention is to obtain stress relief or to comprehend why they hurt and how to relieve their symptoms.
