Chiaki Tomii, Lic. Ac.  

Licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine, Chiaki began studying Japanese Acupressure and Oriental Medical Theory in 2001 at Boston Shiatsu School. As a Zen Shiatsu therapist she found profound benefits in meridian therapy, she sought to pursue further and deeper understandings in Oriental Medicine. She received her Master’s Degree in Acupuncture at New England School of Acupuncture, Newton, MA where they offer comprehensive four-year program in Western and Eastern Medicine as well as extensive clinical education.

Today, Chiaki focuses on treating patients utilizing the skills she obtained in previous years by apprenticing several Japanese and Chinese master acupuncturists. She mainly specializes in Japanese Kiko Acupuncture Style which Chiaki tailors and individualizes steps of treatments to each patient, and treating the illness at root level in addition to the symptom itself.

Chiaki aims to provide the highest level of effective, quality holistic care in a nurturing and supportive environment. By using this gentle, proven approach, she wishes to help restore health and balance to each individual while promoting their physical and emotional well-being. She is a member of the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
